The Ministry of Health continues to take measures to promote a healthy lifestyle and promote physical activity among citizens within the framework of the "Great Return to Territories Freed from Occupation" Program. During the events, medical examinations of the population living in the mentioned areas are carried out by the institutions of the ministry in various directions, medical advice is given and educational campaigns are held in the direction of health promotion.

The next such event organized by the Ministry took place today in the city of Lachin. During the action, the specialized medical staff of the Ministry of Health K. Y. Farajova Scientific Research Pediatric Institute, including pediatricians, a neurologist and a pediatric surgeon, conducted complex medical examinations of school children and young children.

Schoolchildren and young children whose health problems were detected during examinations were given on-site medical advice, preventive examination and appropriate treatments were prescribed.

During the event, about one hundred children were examined by doctors.

After the examinations, an educational event was organized for parents. At the event, doctors of the institute gave presentations on seasonal diseases and respiratory viral infections, as well as the causes of constipation in children. Influenza symptoms, prevention, which diseases cause flu-like symptoms, respiratory virus disease in children and its treatment, as well as the causes of constipation in babies were given detailed information.

In addition, in accordance with the National vaccination calendar of the Republic of Azerbaijan determined by the Ministry of Health for the purpose of immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases, the importance of timely vaccination of babies was emphasized. In addition, parents were advised about the importance of choosing a healthy lifestyle from an early age, being physically active every day, and eating healthy for the comprehensive development of their children.

In the end, parents' questions were answered.

It should be noted that medical examinations and educational events are planned to be held continuously in other areas freed from occupation by the Ministry of Health.
